HAGATNA, Guam — A 28-year-old pedestrian has been killed in Guam.

Pacific Daily News reports the victim has been identified as 28-year-old Turley Thomas.

She was struck by a car as she walked in the middle lane of Marine Corps Drive about 2:30 a.m. Wednesday. Authorities say she was flung about 130 feet after being hit by the car, and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police were interviewing a man who was driving the vehicle.
